Welcome to sixtysix77!
I've been collecting vintage clothing, accessories, furniture and homewares, particularly from the 1960s and 1970s, for years. I enjoy nothing more than browsing the endless aisles of a vintage market or fair on a warm sunny day, with my shopping cart in tow. Maybe it's at the Alameda Antiques Fair in Oakland, the Portobello Road Market in London, a pop-up event in Barcelona, or a Sunday market in Paris...wherever it is, oh what treasures will be found!
I'm not a fashionista; I'm an interior designer and my excursions to these markets & fairs were to source unique and sustainable furniture from decades past (generally mid-century). I fell in love with vintage fashion in the process and now I'm as dazzled by a 1970s disco dress as I am by an Eames lounge chair. But since you can only buy so much for yourself, I was inspired to start sixtysix77 to continue sourcing fabulous vintage fashion and share the curated collection with other vintage lovers.
